The “Diplomas de Español como Lengua Extranjera (DELE)” are official qualifications issued by the Instituto Cervantes on behalf of the Spanish Ministry for Education and Science.
There are six levels of DELE exams: A1, A2, B1, B2, C1, C2.

It consists of a four-week course or an eight week course of 25 lessons per week, just before the official dates of the exams, from 9:00 to 14:15 Monday to Friday. Students have 2 daily lessons of general Spanish plus 3 daily lessons dedicated to aspects specifically related to the exams. For exact dates consult us in advance.
Lessons start at 9:00 in the morning and end at 14:15. However, PLSI reserves the right to change the times of the courses when circumstances necessitate such changes.
The lessons last for 55 minutes and take place from Monday to Friday.
Students will be assigned to a suitable group and level, from Beginners level (without any knowledge) up to Superior.
The groups will have a maximum of 10 students and a minimum number of 4 students (if there are only 1, 2 or 3 students per group, PLSI reserves the right to reduce the number of lessons per week).
At PLSI the students are the centre of the learning process. The main aim of the lessons is to develop the communicative skills of the students. To achieve this, teachers at PLSI use material from varied sources, such as textbooks, material from the press, cinema, Internet, etc.
The school closes during the following dates in 2024: January 1st, 2nd, 3rd 4th, 5th, March 28th, 29th, April 1st, May 1st, July 8th, 9th, 10th, 11th, 12th, 25th, August 15th, November 1st, 29th, December 2nd, 3rd, 6th. It will close for the Christmas break from December 23rd till 31st 2024 both inclusive. Lessons not given on those dates will not be made up for. If there are two holidays in the same week, lessons will be made up for one. If the holiday falls on a Monday, Tuesday will be the start date.
